Jean Alice (McCoy) Hodge

Jean Alice Hodge, age 60, of Centralia, Illinois, passed away at 10:46 A.M. on Sunday, August 7, 2016, at her home with her family by her side. She was born on September 29, 1955 in Centralia, Illinois, the daughter of Bill O. and June Pearl (Jackson) McCoy. She married Larry Hodge on June 2, 1973 in Centralia, Illinois and he survives her in Centralia, Illinois.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Hodge is survived by her son, Jay D. Hodge and wife Sara of Centralia, Illinois, daughter, Angie Mueller and special friend Mark Davis of Centralia, Illinois, six grandchildren, Logan Mueller, Ridge Davis, Raquel Davis, Christian Nollman, Chloe Hodge and Creed Hodge, mother, June McCoy of Centralia, Illinois, twin sister, June Dillinger and husband Thomas of Centralia, Illinois, sister, Glenda Ross of Austin, Texas, mother-in-law, Joanne Hodge and husband Leon of Central City, Illinois, and many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Hodge was preceded in death by her father, Bill O. McCoy and two brothers, B. John McCoy and Larry Dean McCoy.

Mrs. Hodge enjoyed playing bingo and crafting. She cherished the time she spent with her family especially her grandchildren.  She was a homemaker. She lived all of her life in Centralia, Illinois.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, August 10, 2016, at the Grace Church in Centralia, Illinois with Pastor Alan D. Nollman officiating. A Memorial Gathering of Family and Friends will be from 5:30 P.M. to time of services at 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at the church.
