Mark Anthony Robbins, age 61, of Centralia, Illinois, passed away at 9:45 p.m. on Tuesday, July 26, 2016, at SSM Health St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.  He was born on December 13, 1954 in Centralia, the son of Martin and Ida (Deley) Robbins.  He married Susan Ann “Susie” Reinkensmeyer on May 8, 1999 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Hoyleton, Illinois and she survives him in Centralia, Illinois.

In addition to his wife of 17 years, Mr. Robbins is survived by his brother, Mike Robbins and wife Gayla of Centralia, Illinois, two sisters, Christine Brink of Centralia, Illinois and Pat Sanner and husband Alan of Centralia, Illinois, mother-in-law, Lorraine Reinkensmeyer of Centralia, Illinois, brother-in-law, Sam E. Reinkensmeyer and wife Lillian of Portland, Oregon, sister-in-law, Becky Cartmill and husband Bobby of St. Louis, Missouri, five nephews, Steve Shook, Doug Shook, Brian Brink and wife Jessica, Christopher Cartmill and Andrew Cartmill, five nieces, Julie Brink-Semith and husband Joe, Jennifer Brink and wife Brooke, Jamie Robbins, Larissa Reinkensmeyer and Alexandra Reinkensmeyer, five great-nephews, two great-nieces and his special companion Max.

Mr. Robbins was preceded in death by his parents, nephew, David Shook and father-in-law, Edgar W. Reinkensmeyer.

Mr. Robbins was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Centralia, Illinois.  He graduated with the Centralia High School’s “Class of 1973.” He was a member of the board of directors of the Centralia High School Alumni Association.  He was a member of the Centralia Elks Lodge 493 BPOE.  Mr. Robbins was a former member of the Clinton County Board, who served on the board for 12 years.  He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan and Orphans fan.

Mr. Robbins was a facility manager for the Illinois Secretary of State Department of Motor Vehicle in Centralia, Illinois and was to soon retire after 27 years of service.  He was a lifelong resident of Centralia, Illinois.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 1, 2016, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Centralia, Illinois with Pastor Mark Girardin officiating.  Interment will follow in Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery in Hoyleton, Illinois.  Friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 31, 2016, at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Centralia, Illinois and 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 1, 2016, at the church. Memorials contributions may be made in Mr. Robbins’ memory to the American Diabetes Association or Trinity Lutheran Church in Centralia, Illinois and will be received at the Moran Queen-Boggs Funeral home in Centralia, Illinois.
