Please accept my sympathies for your loss. While I did not know Willie personally, my husband did. They lived across the field (and railroad track) from the family in Grand Prairie Township before the Heitkamp home burned. So sorry for your loss.

Rose Marie and Steven,
Please accept my sincerest sympathy in the loss of your dad. Cherish the wonderful memories you have. I have warm memories of both of you as great students. I remember when your parents were building their new home with the poured floor in the kitchen. I remember having dinner with you and your family when the house was finished. Years later we became neighbors so saw them often. After leaving Centralia 20 years ago, I often saw them when I came home. Your dad was a special person. He will be missed by many but none more than you.
