Joseph Richard Clark, age 24, of Centralia, Illinois, passed away at 1:54 P.M. on Saturday, November 25, 2017, at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia, Illinois.

He was born on July 31, 1993, in Malden, Massachusetts, the son of John Clark and Kathryn (Toth) Campbell.

In addition to his mother, Kathryn Campbell of Centralia, Illinois, Joseph is survived by his daughter, Marley Clark of Kansas; brother, John Clark and fiancée Britany Strohmeyer of Centralia, Illinois; sisters, Danielle Campbell of Salem, Illinois, Ashley Hopkinson of Massachusetts and Erica Hopkinson of Massachusetts; uncles, Marc Hebbelinck and wife Karen of Methuen, Massachusetts and Richard Zitoli and wife Linda of Wakefield, Massachusetts and cousins, Jessica Stafford and husband Jim, Leanne Frost and husband Robert, Jocelyn Assini and husband Dominic and Tayla Ward.

Joseph was preceded in death by his father, John Clark and step-father, Edwin Downs.

Joseph enjoyed sports, especially baseball and football.  He was an avid follower of the Boston Red Sox and the Dallas Cowboys.  His family always knew him to be there for you, no matter how bad his situation was, he would put himself aside for the moment.

Joseph was a tattoo artist, who most recently began to create tattoos out of his home.  He really loved his daughter, Marley, and was always talking about her.  He would have liked to have seen his daughter more but the distance between the two kept them apart.  He lived in Centralia, Illinois since 2004.
