Lana Jean Hall, age 67, of Centralia, Illinois, formerly of Thailand and Granite City, Illinois, passed away at 4:39 A.M. on Saturday, July 28, 2018, at Fireside House of Centralia in Centralia, Illinois. She was born on May 29, 1951, in Granite City, Illinois, the daughter of the late Harold and Pauline Mozelle (Dickautt) Dalhaus. She married Luke Edward Hall in 1982 in Granite City, Illinois and he preceded her in death on January 24, 2004.
Mrs. Hall is survived by her sons, Matthew Allen Lufcy of Columbia, Missouri and Samuel Joseph Hall of Columbia, Missouri; daughter, Mary Katherine Hall of Springfield, Illinois; granddaughter, Scarlett Dachsteiner of Springfield, Illinois; nephews, Dale Williams of Salem, Missouri and Mike Williams of Pontoon Beach, Illinois and life long friend, Pam Ready Morris of Centralia, Illinois.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Hall was preceded in death by her parents; brother, William Longwisch and sister, Dalene Jennings.
Mrs. Hall was a registered nurse in the Ob/Gyn Department of different hospitals throughout her life. She earned her nursing degree in 1987 to become a registered nurse and earlier earned her certificate to become a licensed practical nurse. She graduated with the Granite City High School’s “Class of 1969”. She has lived in Centralia, Illinois since 2013 and formerly lived in Thailand and Granite City, Illinois.
Mrs. Hall will be interred next to her husband, Mr. Luke Edward Hall, in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery on Thursday, August 2, 2018. There will be no public visitation nor services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Hall’s memory to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation and will be received by the Moran Queen-Boggs Funeral Home in Centralia, Illinois.
