Pauline Paine, age 74, of Huey, Illinois, passed away at 3:32 P.M. on Saturday, April 14, 2018, at her home in Huey, Illinois with her loving family by her side. She was born on July 18, 1943 in Centralia, Illinois, the daughter of the late Orville D. and Mildred Lee (Bateman) Foutch.
Pauline is survived by the love of her life, Howard Owens of Huey, Illinois; sons, Jimmy D. Owens and wife Shannon of Vienna, Illinois and Jason Owens of Paducah, Kentucky; daughter, Margie Foxworthy and husband Wallace “Wally” of Summerfield, Illinois; grandchildren, Dawn Lammers and husband Brett, Danielle Tibbs and special friend James Cox, Sean King, Chrissy Riddle and husband Eric, Lindsey Glass, Gordy Muckle and Jamie Owens; great-grandchildren, Wyatt Lammers, Jonathon “Doc” Lammers, Alexis Lammers, Haillie Tibbs, Issabella Tibbs and JoJo Tibbs; brother, Bill Foutch and wife Donna of Fairview Heights, Illinois; sisters, Dorothy Gauss of Vienna, Illinois and Brenda Elliston and husband Ervin of Centralia, Illinois and many nieces, nephews and loving family.
Pauline was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Bud Foutch, Everette Foutch, Wilbur Foutch, Donald Foutch and Richard Foutch; sisters, Mable Jarabeck, Jean Schroeder, Betty Vaughn, Phyllis Davis, Wilma Foutch, Virginia Foutch and brother-in-law, Brian Gauss.
Pauline was of the Catholic faith. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Carlyle, Illinois. She was a member of the Centralia V.F.W Post 2055 Auxiliary. She enjoyed being in the outdoors and loved to camp and walk on the ocean side beach. Pauline’s greatest joy was canning from Howard’s garden and making wonderful Christmas trays with all her goodies for all of her family and friends to enjoy. She cherished the time she spent with her family, especially her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Pauline retired in 1995 as an x-ray assistant from the x-ray department at St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia, Illinois after 22 years of service. Earlier in life, she was a waitress at Midget Diner in Centralia, Illinois for many years. She lived the last 3 weeks of her life in Huey, Illinois, formerly of Brookport, Illinois, Huey, Illinois and Centralia, Illinois.
A Catholic Service for Ms. Pauline Paine will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, April 18, 2018, at Moran Queen-Boggs Funeral Home in Centralia, Illinois with Fr. George Mauck officiating. Interment will follow in Fouts Christian Church Cemetery in Centralia, Illinois. Family and friends are asked to meet with Ms. Paine’s family from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, April 17, 2018, at the funeral home and from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, April 18, 2018, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in Ms. Paine’s honor to the Centralia V.F.W. Post 2055 or Fouts Christian Church Cemetery in Centralia, Illinois and will be received by the Moran Queen-Boggs Funeral Home in Centralia, Illinois.
