Susan Lorraine Hull

Susan Lorraine Hull, age 58, of Junction City, Illinois, passed away at 4:05 P.M. on Monday, September 11, 2017 at her home with her family by her side. She was born on January 10, 1959 in Vandalia, Illinois, the daughter of the late Melvin Lawrence and Mildred Margaret (Boliard) Hull.

Ms. Hull is survived by her 9 brothers and sisters, Lessley Hull of Centralia, Illinois, Alice Tyler of Odin, Illinois, Goldie Hull of Odin, Illinois, twin Suzanne Hull of Odin, Illinois, Fred Hull of Dix, Illinois, Becky Richards of Junction City, Illinois, Bill Hull of Virden, Illinois, Angie Reber and husband Bill of Centralia, Illinois and Barb Allen and husband Albert of Odin, Illinois; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and good friends.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Hull was preceded in death by her brothers, Roger Hull, Marty Erwin and Gary “John” Hull; sister, Mary Hull; nephew, Joshua Henson; and great-nephew, Kale Hull.

Ms. Hull was of the Baptist faith. She loved watching, caring and raising kids. She was a mother to a lot of kids, even though she didn’t have any kids herself. She enjoyed listening to old country music. In her younger years, she could be found on the CB radio under the handle of “Candy Kisses.” She cherished the time she spent with her family.

Earlier in life, Ms. Hull was a CNA at nursing homes in Pana and Taylorville, Illinois. She also took care of the elderly in their homes. She lived in the Centralia area for many years.

A Celebration of Life Service for Ms. Susan Hull will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, September 16, 2017, at the Moran Queen-Boggs Funeral Home in Centralia, Illinois. Friends may visit with Ms. Hull’s family from 11:00 A.M. until the time of services at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday at the Moran Queen-Boggs Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with Ms. Hull’s funeral expenses and will be received at the Moran Queen-Boggs Funeral Home in Centralia, Illinois.
