Robert "Rob" Scott Clarida

Robert Scott “Rob” Clarida, age 32, of Centralia, Illinois, passed away at 7:57 P.M. on Wednesday, July 15, 2020, at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia, Illinois. He was born on September 15, 1987, in Bad Kissengen, Germany, the son of Timothy Wayne and Sherry Jane (Roper) Clarida.

Rob is survived by his parents, Timothy and Sherry Clarida of Centralia, Illinois; sisters, Jennifer Pollock and husband Jon of Lovilia, Iowa and Amy Morgason and husband James of Mount Zion, Illinois; nieces, Maddy Pollock and Lexi Morgason and many friends and family who he loved dearly.

Rob was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Bob Clarida and Veneta Clarida; maternal grandparents, Verlin Roper and Doris Roper; uncle, Carl Roper and aunt, Tami Tillman.

Rob was a tinkerer.  He was self-taught and worked on everything and could be found making anything at any given time.  Rob could be found in the garage working on something since the age of 3 years old.  He never had idle hands and was always working on something.  In his spare time, he loved to watch and listen to comedy.  Rob was a loyal person if he cared about you then he cared about you forever.  He would consider those people he cared for his family.

Rob worked as a motorcycle mechanic for 18 years and had many fond memories with his special family at ATVs and More in Salem, Illinois.  He graduated with Centralia High School’s “Class of 2006” in Centralia, Illinois.  He lived most of his life in Centralia, Illinois

A Celebration of Life Service for Mr. Robert Scott “Rob” Clarida will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, July 24, 2020, at the Moran Queen-Boggs Funeral Home in Centralia, Illinois, with Chaplain Joannie Naraghi.  Family and Friends are invited to join with Mr. Clarida's family via Live Stream at www.moranfuneralhome.net on his obituary page at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, July 24, 2020.
