Bierman Family, I am so sorry to hear this news. I only wish I had been able to grow up around my Aunt Barb. I have fond memories of visiting my aunt, uncle and cousins. Since my Dad , Aunt Barb's brother Lester was in the Navy we would move often and get to visit very seldom. Aunt Barb was very dedicated to my Dad when he was in nursing care before he passed and it meant so much to me knowing she was there for him. Aunt Barb and I had several phone conversations and I loved the things she would tell me about her and her siblings growing up. She also sent me some pictures of them when they were young. She was a wealth of information that I will miss. We had just exchanged Christmas cards and in it she said "Call me sometime" It made me smile. Unfortunately we didn't have that last phone call but I can talk to her anytime now. She had a lot of loved ones waiting for her. So just wanted to send you our condolences and know she will be missed.

I can't tell you how sorry I was to hear of your mother's passing. She was such a sweet lady and I will always remember her kindness, her soft spoken nature and her tireless energy. Nothing ever seemed to slow her down.
She will be sorely missed on this earth. But know that she is now one of the brightest stars in heaven.

Our warmest thoughts, deepest prayers and much love to all who knew and loved her. Especially her children and all of their families. I know you will miss her deeply. Open the memories and think of her often with a smile as beautiful as hers was and know that she will always be looking out for you all.

My dear, dear buddy and classmate, Barb Carolyn Davenport. I played for her wedding lo, those many years ago. She was our class valedictorian and although her life growing up wasn't always easy, we all admired her for her drive and determination to learn as much as was available in those days. And we loved her dimples and pretty blonde hair. Barb and I kept in contact all these years--primarily over reunion plans. In fact, we just saw each other last September for our 62nd year reunion. She was always so timely in letting us know whenever there was news from our other classmates and usually, it was about the passing of a former friend. But this time, that very life is the one who has left us and it has made me very sad. The news has caused me great grief and I pass on my earnest prayers, sympathy and peace to the family.
