Jessie Allen Stroud, age 52, after a valiant fight with lung cancer, entered into eternal peace at 4:00 P.M. on Tuesday, June 30, 2015, at his home that he shared with his special friend and caretaker, Glenda Feazel, of Centralia, Illinois.

Jessie was born on March 15, 1963 in East St. Louis, Illinois, the son of Edward and Jiers (Beahringer) Stroud. He was raised in Belleville, Illinois and attended East Belleville High School.

Jessie is survived by his son, William Allen White of Belleville, Illinois, stepsons, Jason Feazel and Joshua Feazel, both of Centralia, Illinois, grandchildren, Ashlee Feazel and Gary Feazel, both of Centralia, Illinois, brothers, Steven Stroud and wife Shelly of Shiloh, Illinois, Patrick Stroud of Tennessee and James Stroud and wife Melanie of O'Fallon, Illinois, stepsisters, Laura Gandy and husband Zach of Summerfield, Illinois and Lacey Seibert and husband Bryian of Dayton, Ohio, aunt, Sharon Beahringer of Mt. Vernon, Illinois, uncles, John Stroud of Nashville, Illinois and Donald Stroud of Carlyle, Illinois and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, Jessie was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clarence and Geneva Beahringer and Floyd and Alma Lucille Stroud and many uncles and aunts.

Jessie had lots of jobs in his lifetime; he was a cook, laborer, welder and handyman. He became disabled from falling out of a tree in 1999. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family, trying to make them laugh. In 2013, Jessie started going to church at The Rock in Centralia, Illinois and he was baptized on December 8, 2013. He was very proud of his faith and he passed away with the firm belief that Heaven was his destination.

In accordance with his wishes, cremation will be performed. There will be no public visitation or services. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Family's wishes and will be received at the Moran Queen-Boggs Funeral Home in Centralia, Illinois.
