Phil,
We were so very sorry to hear about Joann. She was a very sweet person & will be missed. She worked very hard to come back from her stroke last year. Our sympathy & prayers go out to you & the entire family. She & Pete will be together again now.

My Aunt Joann was a woman to be admired. She accomplished something that is very hard to do nowadays, commitment. Her commitment to her husband and son was not because she felt like it was a have to, but because she loved them more then life itself. From what I saw, she put them first and had no issues with defending or protecting her family. This was a trait that I admired and always tried to hold as a model for myself. Even though I failed a few times, I still held onto that image of what real love is supposed to be like. We all know that this world is hard, but when you can jump hurdles, compromise and still have that same love for that person for all those years? To me, that is to be cherished, admired and respected. I love you Aunt Jo, thank you for teaching us the definition of love. When you see Uncle Pete, please send him my love. P.S I love you Phill and always will.
