Debbie and Wayne, I am so sorry for her pasting. Rita and Jr. was the only family I knew on that side of the family. Both were great people and always willing to do anything we may needed. We love them and we will miss them a great deal. I am sure Mom and Dad was waiting for her and they are happy together waiting for us. If there is anything you need let us know. Love you all.....

Wayne and Debbie, please accept my sincere sympathy. I have another commitment and am unable to pay my respects in person. I liked your mother and have childhood memories with Wayne and, of course, Debbie babysat for my daughters, Leigh Ann & Susan Crenshaw. I will be thinking of you and lifting you in prayer as you say your final goodbyes to your mom. Sincerely, Dee Dee

Debbie and Wayne,
While planning a trip to Springfield, I ran across your mothers obituary. I am so very sorry for your loss. You may not remember me, we knew each other as children in Arizona. I now live in New York with my wife.
Your mother had the sweetest spirit and was, as my mother was, an amazing cook. I remember Christmas and pink divinity and the most wonderful summer cookouts.
She was so kind to my family when David was wounded in Vietnam.
My mom and dad are both gone now. I can only imagine the grief you are feeling. Dennis is right.... your mom and Aunt Dorothy are having a swell time right now!!!
Our very fondest regards,
Kitty and Cheryle Lambert-Rudd

Rita and Bill were a very special couple that I had the privilege of caring for in their home. I am blessed because I was able to know them. I'll be excited to see them when we meet again.

Aunt Rita made a tremendous contribution to my life and I will miss her greatly. She loved me, my wife, sons, and grandchildren. She was also a long-time member of New Harmony Baptist Church and spoke fondly of her church and her Lord. Our prayers certainly are offered up for Wayne and Debbie, and the rest of the family. Rita and my mother Dorothy are laughing and talking now; that is a sweet assurance.
